Dear Prospective Student

Thanks for your interest in IQ Biology! We're happy to have this opportunity to introduce our program to you. This section will make IQ Biology more familiar to you, explain the application process, and point out important program elements and where you can find out more on our website and will make recommendations on how to find the information you'll need to make a decision.

We seek applicants who have demonstrated strong ability in one field and who exhibit interdisciplinary curiosity through solid experience in a secondary field (through a minor discipline or through research or work experiences). Once enrolled, you will be encouraged to achieve greater disciplinary knowledge, expand your familiarity with a secondary discipline and further explore how to integrate research across disciplines.

Applications to IQ Biology are simultaneously reviewed by the IQ Biology Program's admissions committee and those of the academic degree-granting departments to which they apply. Once selected for an interview, you will visit campus for the IQ Biology recruitment weekend, February 15-17, 2018. During the weekend, you will meet current IQ Biology students and CU Boulder faculty from multiple departments. Final offers of admission will be extended soon after the recruitment weekend.

Application materials can be found here. Applications are due Dec. 3, and we will begin reviewing applications mid-December.
